hi, a friend is considering a Falt4 site. it's new to me; I'm familiar with Drupal. * haven't seen a Requirements blurb here. what minimum versions does it need [PHP, MySQL]? * does Falt4 require less hosting resources than Drupal? (particularly server RAM)? * I see no mention in the Media Library area about support for video formats. is video [mov/flv/wma/swf] supported? thanks!
Requirements are php4++, MySQL4++ and about 20 mb of webspace..
I dont know exactly how much resources drupal uses. Falt4 has a moderate usage, but if server resources are a problem you can always activate the full caching of pages and serve 'almost flat files'.
flv, divx and so on are supported by our media database.
